Pork Steak Casserole


1-1/2 lb. pork steak, cut into strips
2 tbsp. oil
1 large onion, chopped
1 small green pepper, chopped
1 can (14 oz.) mushrooms, drained
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1-1/2 tbsp. vinegar
1-1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. Worcestershire® sauce


      Brown pork in oil in skillet.  To remove excess fat, drain on paper towels.  Place pork strips and all remaining ingredients in crockpot 6 - 8 hours on Low (4 hours on High).  Serve over noodles or rice.   Makes 6 servings.
Note:  Can be placed in a greased casserole, baked 2 hours at 350ºF (175ºC).
