Chocolate Covered Strawberries

16 oz. milk chocolate chips
2 tbsp. shortening
1 lb. fresh strawberries with leaves 

      Insert toothpicks into tops of strawberries.  In a double boiler, melt chocolate and shortening, stirring occasionally until smooth.  Holding them by toothpicks, dip strawberries into chocolate mixture.  Turn strawberries upside down, insert toothpick into Styrofoam® for chocolate to cool.
