Ranch Burgers

1-1/4 lb. ground beef, low-fat recommended
1/4 cup crushed tortilla chips
2 tbsp. Ranch salad dressing
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
4 thick slices bread, toasted (buy loaf of unsliced; slice 3/4" thick; toast over bbq)


      In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, tortilla chips, ranch dressing, salt, and pepper; mix well. Divide into 4 (5-oz.) parts and shape into patties.  Grill burgers over medium-high heat 10 minutes per side, or until no pink remains.  Serve on toasted bread with favorite condiments.
