Crock Pot Cabbage and Beef Casserole

1-1/2 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 head (small) cabbage
2 cans (15 oz. each) diced tomatoes
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce or 1 can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed tomato soup
1/2 - 1 tsp. cinnamon, optional
to taste: salt and pepper
2 cups (+/-) hot cooked rice 


      Brown ground beef with onion; transfer to Crockpot.  Slice cabbage into small wedges; place on ground beef.  Mix tomatoes, sauce and seasonings; pour over all.  Cover, cook on Low 8 - 10 hours.  Serve over rice or mix.  Makes 6 servings.
