Sour Cream Pound Cake


3 sticks butter or margarine
3 cups each cake flour, sugar
6 eggs
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
2 tsp. flavoring, your favorite
1/4 tsp. each baking powder, salt (add baking powder and salt to flour)

      Heat oven to 300ºF (150ºC).  Mix butter, sugar, eggs and sour cream until well mixed.  Add dry ingredients to mixture and beat well'; add flavoring, mix.  Pour into a tube pan and bake at 300 - 325ºF (150-165ºC) 1 hour or until done, when tested with toothpick.
