Shepherd's Pie

Quick, Easy and Delicious
 
1 lb.      lean ground beef

1/4 cup       each chopped onion, chopped green pepper

1 can     (10-3/4 oz.) vegetable soup

1/4 tsp.       salt

dash      thyme

1 cup     (approx.) seasoned mashed potatoes

 
       Heat oven to 425º F.  Brown beef; cook onion and green pepper until tender; stir in soup, salt and thyme.  Spoon into 1-qt. casserole; place potatoes in mounds around edge of casserole.  Bake 15 minutes.
