Fried Cabbage Country Style

This is one of my favorite ways to fix cabbage..

Fry bacon in large  skillet until crisy,DO NOT DRAIN OFF FAT FROM THE BACON, Thats where the f;avor is .  Add cabbage, Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

.  Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until light brown.

4 slices of bacon ,cut into small pieces.

salt/pepper to taste 

1 medium head green cabbage, (about 1 1/4 lbs.) shredded

11/2 to 1 onion, chopped
