2 cups all purpose flour
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 1/4 cup butter, softened
1 egg, beaten
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 cups toffee candy, crushed
Combine flour and brown sugar in a large bowl. Place softened butter in bowl and cream together with flour and sugar, then add beaten egg and stir well. Add 1 and one half cups chocolate chips (reserving one half cup) to mixture and stir until mixture looks like fine crumbs. Grease a 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan and press one half of crumb mixture along the bottom of the pan. Place in a 350 oven and bake for 10 minutes. Remove and pour sweetened condensed milk over baked crumbs. Pour 1 and one half cups of toffee candy on top of sweetened condensed milk. Sprinkle remaining half of crumb mixture over candy and top with reserved half cup of chocolate chips. Return to oven and bake for 20 -25 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars. The Skinny: Use your favorite egg and sugar substitute and fat free condensed milk.
