Oh, My Mom use to make this and it is so so good..
2 lbs Round steak
1/2 cup Vegetable oil
2 tsp Salt
3 ea Medium onions, chopped
1/2 tsp Ground black pepper
1 tsp Ground red pepper
1 tsp Ground Black pepper
1 cup water
Start with 1 cup, add more if needed.. All-purpose flour (dredging)
Season the Steak with one half of the salt and peppers. Dust with flour on all sides. Heat the oil in askillet over medium-high heat, , and brown well on all sides, . Remove the meat to a 9 x 12 pans and pour off all but 1/4 cup of the oil. Add water. Stir well, cover with foil and put in a 350* oven for 1 hour.
Do the same way for Steak or Chicken,,
Server over rice or mashed potatoes..
