Dutch Split Pea Soup

1 hambone
3 cups ham pieces
1-1/2 cups split peas
1 minced onion
6 - 8 cups water
3 ribs celery, minced
2 diced carrots
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can (10-3/4 oz.) Campbells® pea soup

      Cover hambone and pieces with water. 
 Add peas, onion, celery, bay leaf, salt and pepper.
  Cover, simmer 2 hours. 
 Add carrots and can of pea soup.
  Simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. 
 Add more salt if needed. 
 Makes 8 servings.
