Bacon Breakfast Casserole

 
A great way to start the morning...
 
 
8 slices white bread, crusts trimmed

8 slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled

1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained

2 green onions, sliced

1 1/2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese

4 eggs, beaten

2 cups milk

Place four bread slices in single layer into greased 8 inch square baking
pan. Sprinkle with bacon, mushrooms, onions and cheese. Cover with remaining
bread slices. In bowl, combine eggs and milk. Pour over bread. Cover;
refrigerate for 1 hour, or overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Uncover
dish. Bake for 1 hour. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
