Easy Cacciatore

Wonderful Dish, So Simple Too !!!

2 tbsp. olive oil or vegetable oil


4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts or 8 skinless, boneless chicken thighs
1 medium onion, chopped


1/8 tsp. garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, minced


1 jar (28 oz.) Prego® Chunky Garden Mushroom & Green Pepper

Italian Sauce


4 cups hot cooked linguine or spaghetti

 

HEAT 1 tbsp. oil in skillet. Cook chicken until browned. Remove chicken.

HEAT remaining oil in skillet. Add onion and garlic and cook until tender-crisp.

ADD pasta sauce. Heat to a boil. Return chicken to skillet. Cover and cook over low heat 5 min. or until done. Serve over linguine.
