Vanilla Ice Cream

4 eggs
2-1/2 tbsp. vanilla
2-1/2 cups sugar 
1/2 tsp. salt    
7 cups milk
3 cups whipping cream

      Beat eggs until light.  Add sugar gradually,
 beating until thick.  Add remaining ingredients; mix well.
  Freeze in 5-qt. ice cream freezer.
