Sweet Potato Pie



1 cup mashed sweet potatoes, canned or fresh
2 large eggs, beaten slightly
1-1/4 cups canned evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/8 tsp. salt
1 (unbaked) deep-dish pie crust
Streusel Topping
1/2 - 3/4 cup each chopped pecans, brown sugar
2 - 3 tbsp. melted butter or margarine
      Heat oven to 450ºF (240ºC).  Mix all ingredients; pour into pie crust.  Bake 10 minutes. turn oven to 350ºF (175ºC).  Bake 20 minutes, or until a knife inserted in middle comes out almost clean.  Put streusel topping on; cook additional 5 - 10 minutes.  Topping:  Mix all, place on top of pie evenly.  Makes 6 - 8 servings.
