Crockpot Swiss Steak

2 to 2-1/2 lb. round steak
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1/4 cup water
1 can (10-3/4 oz.) cream of mushroom soup
      Cut steak into 5 - 6 serving-size pieces. 
 Place in crockpot.  Add dry onion soup mix,
water and soup.  Cover and cook 6 - 8 hours. 
 Excellent with mashed potatoes or rice.
