Sour Cream Fudge

 
2 cup sugar

2 tbsp. each white corn syrup, butter or margarine

3/4 - 1 cup sour cream, depending upon consistency.  Thin sour cream
 
with milk until consistency of thick whipping cream is reached

1 tsp. vanilla

1/2 cup walnuts or pecans chopped

 
       Mix sugar, corn syrup, butter and sour cream. 
 
 Cook and stir over medium heat until soft ball stage. 
 
Cool to room temperature.
 
  Beat until thick.  Add nuts. 
 
 Pour onto a buttered plate or pan. 
 
 Do not spread. 
 
 Cut into squares when firm.
