Breaded Pork Chops

 

4 center-cut pork chops, 1/2 - 3/4" thick

to taste salt and pepper

1 egg

3 tbsp. milk

1/2 cup flour

1/4 cup vegetable oil
 

 
       Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper.
 
  Heat oil in a heavy skillet. 
 
 Whisk egg and milk in a shallow bowl.
 
  Dip each pork chop in egg mixture, then dredge in flour.
 
  Fry in hot oil 4 - 6 minutes per side.
