4 cups flour |
3 tsp baking powder |
1 tsp salt |
1 tsp sugar |
3/4 cup shortening |
1 3/4 cup milk |
Sift flour and dry ingredients in mixing bowl, add shortening and milk and work with hands on lightly floured board. Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter. Bake at 400° for 10-12 min. or until brown.
Makes about 20 large Biscuits.
