Make Your Own Low Sodium Soy Sauce Substitute

This came in my mailbox.. sounds like a plan to me :)

 

2 Tbsp Sodium Free Beef Bouillon
2 tsp Red Wine Vinegar
1 tsp Molasses
1/8 tsp Ground Ginger
Dash of Black Pepper (1/8 tsp)
1/8 tsp Garlic Powder
3/4 c Water

 

In small saucepan, combine all ingredients and boil gently uncovered about 5 minutes or until mixture is reduced to 1/2 cup. Store in refrigerator. Stir before using. Serving size is 1 Tbsp.

Makes 8 servings (1/2 c sauce)
