ROAST LEG OF LAMB ( DAD’S BEST YET) Thanks Bob

 

1.      Preheat oven to 450 degrees

 

    2.  Rub down Lamb with alittle oil, season with

          black peper, alittle Cajun seasoning, paprika and

          garlic power.

 

 3.  With a sharp knife cut some slits in the Lamb

  Insert sliced garlic cloves.

 

      4.  Place alittle water in bottom of roasting pan.

      

      5.  Roast for 30 minutes

 

 6. Reduce heat to 350 degrees

 

 7. Cook for about 30 minutes / pound or until

           Internal temperature reaches 170 degrees

 

       8.  Let stand for 10 to 15 minutes covered.

 

 

Roast Potatoes +

 

 

Add potatoes and onions about 1 ½ hours before taking lamb out. Season with black peper, alittle Cajun seasoning and paprika. Stir after 45 minutes as to get potatoes browned all over.
