LASAGNA

I got this from a friend a couple years ago .. Good Stuff!

10 oz. UNCOOKED lasagna noodles
1 lb. shredded mozzarella

Sauce:
1 lb. lean ground chuck
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. oregano
Salt
24 oz. tomato sauce
18 oz. tomato paste

Filling:
3 cups cottage or ricotta cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
2 Tbs. parsley flakes
2 beaten eggs
Salt & pepper to taste

Brown meat & drain; add remaining sauce ingredients and simmer.
Mix together filling ingredients in a separate bowl.
Spread a small amount of sauce to cover the bottom of a deep 9x13-inch baking dish. Layer 1/2 UNCOOKED noodles, 1/2 filling, 1/2 mozzarella, and 1/2 meat sauce; repeat. Pour 1/2 to 1 cup of water on top; cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees F for one hour, uncovering the last 10 minutes. Let sit 10 minutes.
