Classic Macaroni Salad

 
The next best thing to potato salad !!!
 
2 cups cooked macaroni, drained, rinsed, cooled

2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped

1/4 cup each chopped celery. chopped onion

1/3 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

2 tsp.sugar
 
2 tsp. vinegar

1/2 tsp. salt, or to taste

 
1/2 tsp. prepared mustard

pepper to taste

 
       Combine all ingredients, using about 1/3 cup mayonnaise and stir well.  Add a little mayonnaise, if necessary.  Taste and adjust seasonings.  Cover and chill several hours before serving.  Makes 4 sevings.
