Cake:
1 pkg. (18-1/2 oz.) chocolate cake mix
1 cup water
1 pkg. (small) instant chocolate pudding
1/2 cup oil
4 eggs
Butter Syrup
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
1 cup water
1 pkg. (small) instant chocolate pudding
1/2 cup oil
4 eggs
Butter Syrup
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
Heat oven to 350º
. Grease and flour a Bundt pan. Cake: Mix above 5 ingredients and pour into Bundt pan. Bake 45 - 60 minutes. Butter Syrup: Bring butter, sugar and 3/4 cup water to a boil over medium heat. Pour over warm cake while cake is still in pan. Let mixture soak well into cake. Turn cake out onto plate and cover immediately so that cake will "steam." Makes 6-8 servings.
