Custard Pie

6 eggs
1 c sugar
nutmeg
4 c milk
2 tsp vanilla extract

Beat the eggs with sugar Add milk and vanilla.
Pour into pie shell.
 Sprinkle top with nutmeg.
Bake at 425 degrees for 10 mins. Lower heat to 350 degrees and cook until knife inserted in the middle comes out clean ( usually 1/2 hr).
*Note You can also use the same recipe to just make it a custard instead
of using pie shell just pour it into custard dishes. Bake at 400 degrees
with dishes set in a pan of water for 25 to 30 mins.
